In order to implement the Strategy of Invigorating China through Science and Education as well as to meet the demands for scientometrics and university evaluation of government and educational institutions, The International Conference on Scientometrics and University Evaluation is held stressing dissemination of researches centered on advances in scientometrics, university evaluation and related applications. In the 2004,the 4^th International Conference on University Evaluation and Research Evaluation was firstly held in Wuhan,230 delegates from 16 countries participated in the this conference and shared research insights; in October,2010,we successfully held the 6^th International Conference on Scientometrics and University Evaluation, more than 230 experts and researchers from at least 100 universities and research institutions participated in the conference, discussing research advancements and seeking opportunities for future cooperation.

 

The 7^th International Conference on Scientometrics and University Evaluation will be held in Central China Normal University, on 26^th-28^th, October, 2012, Wuhan, China.This conference is organized by Central China Normal University, Wuhan University, International Society for Scientometrics and Informetrics, International Ranking Expert Group, US News & World Report and The Times. The 7^th International Conference on Scientometrics and University Evaluation aims at Scientometrics, University Evaluation and Science Development. This continuous international conference also serves as a high-level forum for experts and researchers from a wide range of information science areas to exchange the latest research ideas and approaches in Scientometrics and University Evaluation field.

 

The 7^th International Conference on Scientometrics and University Evaluation builds on the success of the 2010 conference structure and follows the international conference routines. Researchers and experts in the field of Scientometrics, University Evaluation and Research Evaluation are welcomed to contribute high-quality papers to the 7^th International Conference on Scientometrics and University Evaluation (ICSUE 2012).

Potential Authors are invited to submit A4-sized full papers of four pages(maximum) in Word format using the conference template (http://icsue.nseac.com).The Author number for each paper submitted is limited to 3,and each author can only submit one paper as the first author.

All accepted papers will be published in Geomatics and Information Science of Wuhan University as conference proceedings in full text or abstract. In addition, selected high-quality papers will be recommended to Scientometrics (SCI&SSCI Source Journal),other accepted papers can be indexed by EI or ISTP(all accepted paper in ICSUE 2010 were indexed by EI within 10 weeks after the conference was closed);

Publication fee is only required for accepted paper in full text.
